Welcome to The Mindset Edit

Your monthly edit on mindset, ambition and figuring out what a good life actually looks like for you.

WHAT IS THE MINDSET EDIT?

Consider this your monthly mindset reset.

There is a lot of content telling women how to be better, do more and become more successful.

The Mindset Edit is interested in a slightly different conversation.

What do you actually want? What is shaping the way you think? And is the life you are building one you genuinely want to live?

Every month, we choose one theme and explore it through the lens of mindset, modern womanhood and ambition.

Less content for content’s sake. More things worth thinking about.

Every monthly Edit is built around five things: honest stories, coaching-led insight, useful recommendations, things worth getting out of the house for, and what’s happening in mindset, wellness and society right now.

From the Editor

Hi, I’m Shauna, founder of Blissful Type and a certified coach trained at the University of Cambridge.

Before coaching, I spent years working across creative, marketing and brand roles, while building Blissful Type alongside it. At one point, I was working as a Marketing Director, Creative & Brand Executive, studying coaching at Cambridge and running my own business at the same time.

Which taught me quite a lot about ambition. Particularly what happens when you have plenty of it, but very little space left for yourself.

My work now sits at the intersection of mindset, ambition and how we actually want our lives to feel.

The Mindset Edit brings together what I have learned through professional coach training, working with clients, building businesses and spending years slightly obsessively reading, researching and thinking about personal development.

I’m not here to tell you exactly how your life should look.

I’d much rather give you better questions, useful tools and interesting conversations so you can decide that for yourself.

WHY THIS EXISTS

The Mindset Edit was created to make coaching and personal development feel more accessible.

Because ambition does not have to mean constantly doing more, and growth does not have to become another thing to get right. You can want a successful career or business, more confidence, better habits and bigger goals, while still caring deeply about how your life feels along the way.

So this is a space to explore the conversations underneath all of that. The mindset shaping your decisions, the things influencing how we define success, and the questions that help you work out what you actually want.

For ambitious, curious women who are still figuring some of it out.

That’s enough talking. Go have a look around.

Start with this month’s Edit, save whatever makes you think, and come back whenever you need a little perspective.

See you inside,
